FAST Enterprises, LLC and its affiliated entities, including Fast LP and its subsidiaries, including but not limited to Fast Data Services, LLC and Fast Hosting Services, LLC, collectively referred to as “FAST,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us,” respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the information shared through the FAST Client Community.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, maintain, protect, and disclose information when authorized users access or use the FAST Client Community, a client-facing forum website hosted on the Discourse platform and used by FAST to communicate with clients, share client-facing documentation, and respond to questions about the FAST Application.

By accessing or using the FAST Client Community, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should not access or use the FAST Client Community.

Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the FAST Client Community. It does not replace or limit any separate contractual obligations, confidentiality obligations, data processing terms, client agreements, or other policies that may apply between FAST and its clients.

Information We Collect

We may collect information that you provide directly when you create or use an account, update your profile, post content, reply to topics, send messages, participate in discussions, ask questions, or otherwise interact with the FAST Client Community. This information may include your name, business email address, username, organization, job title, profile information, forum posts, comments, replies, direct messages, uploaded materials, and any other information you choose to provide.

We may also collect certain information automatically when you use the FAST Client Community, such as IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, log data, authentication events, pages viewed, topics accessed, search activity, timestamps, and other information about your interactions with the site. The FAST Client Community may use cookies, analytics, security, and similar technologies to operate the forum, support account authentication, improve functionality, and protect the site.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The FAST Client Community may use cookies and similar technologies, now or in the future, to support the operation, functionality, security, and improvement of the forum. These technologies may include strictly necessary cookies used to operate the forum, authenticate users, and maintain security, as well as analytics cookies used to understand how the site is used.

FAST does not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising and does not permit third parties to collect personal information through the FAST Client Community for their own advertising purposes.

Client Content and Confidential Information

The FAST Client Community is intended for client-facing communications, documentation, and questions related to the FAST Application. Users should not post sensitive personal information, production data, confidential taxpayer information, payment card information, health information, security credentials, secrets, passwords, private keys, or other regulated or highly sensitive information unless specifically authorized by FAST through an approved process and appropriate safeguards.

How We Use Information

  • To provide, operate, administer, secure, and improve the FAST Client Community;

  • To create, manage, authenticate, and support user accounts;

  • To communicate with users about forum activity, documentation, announcements, support responses, and updates;

  • To respond to user questions, requests, and reported issues;

  • To moderate content, enforce community rules, investigate misuse, and maintain a professional client-facing environment;

  • To protect FAST, its clients, users, systems, information, and rights;

  • To comply with applicable legal, contractual, security, audit, and compliance obligations; and

  • For any other purpose disclosed to you when information is provided or with your consent.

How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to FAST affiliates, employees, contractors, service providers, platform providers, hosting providers, security providers, and other third parties that support the FAST Client Community and FAST business operations. FAST requires its service providers, including the Discourse platform that hosts the FAST Client Community, to protect personal information and to use it only to perform services for FAST. We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, government request, contractual obligation, audit requirement, or when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of FAST, our clients, users, or others.

FAST does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under applicable privacy laws. FAST has not sold or shared personal information for such purposes. FAST does not disclose or share personal information other than with affiliates and service providers for business operations, or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.

Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from accidental loss and unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, transmission of information over the internet is not completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted through the FAST Client Community.

Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to operate and support the FAST Client Community, comply with legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce our agreements and policies. FAST determines retention periods based on the type of information, the purposes for which it was collected, and applicable legal, contractual, and security requirements. Certain content may remain in backups, logs, audit records, or archived forum materials for a limited period after deletion or account closure.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you reside, you may have rights related to your personal information, which may include the right to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or to opt out of certain uses of personal information. International Users and Data Transfers

The FAST Client Community is operated in the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United Stated where FAST operates, which may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. If the General Data Protection Regulation or a comparable law applied to your personal information, FAST processes it on a lawful basis, and you may have additional rights, including the rights to object to or restrict processing and to withdraw consent.

Children

The FAST Client Community is intended for authorized business users and is not intended for persons under 16 years of age. FAST does not knowingly collect the personal information from anyone under the age of 16, or from children under 13 as defined by the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Persons under 16 should not access or provide information through the FAST Client Community. If FAST learns that it has collected personal information from a person under the applicable age, it will delete that information.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date the Privacy Policy was last revised will be identified at the top of this section. Continued use of the FAST Client Community after changes are posted indicates acknowledgment of the updated Privacy Policy.
